[RC] Interesting alternative to gun story - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I have one that puts out about 50,000 volts on a 9volt battery. Since my
daughter is home alone after school she has it there where she can use it if
needed.

I brought it to work one day as a lot of the guys were interested in gettign
one for their wives. I wasn't quite stupid enough to try it out on myself but
my supervisor at the time was. He sat in a chair and had me hold it against
his leg for a second. He said he felt a small shock and to do it for the
recommended 3 to 5 seconds. He sure felt that. Had me pull it off well before
the 5 seconds were up. Said his leg was tingly and numb feeling.

Like a gun, I feel that if I am threatened enough to use it then the person is
within my space and I'll make sure they go down and stay down.
