Re: [RC] Lady's Gun - Lynne Glazer

I have a Glock 26, a subcompact 9mm. It has very little kick. http://www.usglock.com/index_files/glock26.htm Wide variety of holsters available, cops use this one as an ankle (backup) weapon.

Before I had a .357 S&W model 66 w/2.5" barrel, but it was a 6 shot and fairly heavy. The Glock is much lighter and more compact, but revolvers are easy to manage in a pinch. That 5 shot version sounds great.

Like landing on a cell phone in a fall, it would not be fun, but I'd advise against having it on the horse rather than on you, in case you separate.

Hi -

My husband worries about the kids and me running around the countryside and would like me to carry a gun. His gun is a 357, we looked at one for me, but I find it's a bit much for me to handle....Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Carol
