RE: [RC] Just a note - heidiAll I have to say is that I will *never* understand the lure the mall holds for most women. Merry Christmas to all my normal friends. It's comforting to know you're out there. I'll bet I'm not the only one who looks for an especially fragrent bale of hay to give them on holidays. Boy howdy, I'm with you there! And what about all those crazy ads telling men to get their wives diamonds? Heck, I just got a 1968 4WD truck with an old prototype hydrabed on it for handling round bales, and THAT's my idea of a cool Christmas present! If I had a diamond ring, I'd prob'ly do what my sister did with hers--rasp the darn setting off trimming feet. As for the mall, it was bad enough going to the grocery store today! I sure didn't inherit the shopping gene--if I need something, I figure out where to get it and go get it. Period. The quicker I can get in and out of stores, the better. And here in this small town, I can just park in front of the store I want (usually the feed store but sometimes the hardware store) and dash in--I don't have to hike down three miles of hallways to find it. I live 160 miles (and over a major mountain pass) from the nearest mall, and never considered that a drawback at all when I moved back here...
