Richard, I was interested in the "nose diving".  A friend told me that he
had his trailer raised 4" to accommodate his Ford F350 bed height, but that
he continues to experience rubs when he goes over ditches or the like.  He
thought it was because he has a short bed.

Could you explain a little of the "physics" of it?  I can't really visualize
why it happens.

The fact that you have a short box (6FT) rather than a standard 8 ft bed,
will also contribute to nose diving on the front end of your trailer.
