There are a few things you can do, to prevent this from happening. One, is
have the axels raised some, to make the clearance on the trailer higher. But
usually, the easier alternative is to have protective skid plates added, to
protect the holding tanks and plumbing. I'd say by now, most of those who
attend the XP rides in remote locations on a regular basis, have done one of
both of these items to their trailer.

I had some wires for my lighting, that were really not protected if I were
to drag on a bump or rise going into a ridecamp. I had a small skid plate
welded on to protect them. No more rewiring my trailer after I get to camp!
I found a welder in town who is very reasonably priced, and has no problem
with my little projects I bring him.
