RE: [SPAM] [RC] Truck pulling capacities - heidi

Hi. Am interested in feedback on whether anyone has pulled GN (22' floor
length with LQ) aluminum with a Heavy Half GMC short box 4 X 4, Vortec V8 350
engine. We live in a very flat Prairie area, so no need to pull up or down
hills or mountains. Any thoughts on what minimum size truck is required to
pull a trailer this size (approx. weight loaded 10 - 11,000 lbs)? Thanks.

As has been said in various ways several times before but is worth
saying again, it isn't what the truck will pull--it is what it will
stop. I suspect you could pull the load you describe just fine with
the half ton. But whether you can reliably stop it when you need to
could be another thing altogether.

Heidi
