Hello,
Some news...
Several horses in the stables got some flu and had to be treated; now it
seems that all (just speaking about european horses) are now ok and have
recovered.
140 horses should be presented at the initial trotting on friday. Tomorrow,
thursdary the open ceremony will take place at the F1 Grand Prix racetrack,
just next to the endurance village. There will also be a BMW series car race
where all endurance people will be invited. Different sport...
FEI officials are now arriving from different parts of the world.
That's all for now
Leonard, Belgium

Just arrived this evening.
It seems that the organizing committee is doing a good job. I was
welcomed
at my arrival at the airport by a delegate from the organization. No
queue
at the custom, no visa. Perfect :-)

Media people are accomodated at a nice hotel together with the FEI
officials, at Manama.

Riders and crew persons are splitted in 4 other hotels. Funny to meet
all
the international circle once again. Everyone is happy. Tomorrow I will
go
to the stables and take some pictures. Stables are next to the F1 Grand
Prix
racetrack, where the open ceremony will take place.

Feel free to post on ridecamp or anywhere...

Leonard
