[RC] Response to S-Hackamore controll question - my experience - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Speaking only from my own experience with the S-Hackamore, which may be more
limited than some others have had, what I found is as follows: my smart, very
fit, and very competitive guy learned quickly (in minutes!) how to tuck his
nose into his chest to avoid the effect of the Hackamore. This way he could
run up and down mountains in front of the pack for miles, and I had no control
of him whatever. It was not a strength issue for me, since I can fairly easily
lift 100 lbs of feed. The next time we rode with a group, I used a Kimberwicke.
This worked for him and for me. Don't know if this will help you, but good
luck!

Lorretta in S. MD.
