Re: [RC] So who went riding today? - Agilbxr

Me too! Al and I went out today on about a 7-8 mile walk/slow trot (taking it
easy on those feet). All the crew from the barn came, and we had a great ride.
It is perfect! riding weather here in north florida. 60 degrees, sunny,
slight breeze.

The best part is that I had a happy, sound horse who obviously enjoyed his
jaunt in the woods today with his buddies. Ears forward, happy face, no
theatrics (we aren't counting the sudden stop over the logs on the trail).
Towards the end of our little ride, he even let the others trot ahead and
walked to the barn with only a few reminders of "we don't do that Al".

Yay!

For those following my thrush predicament, he's started on Hooflex (15mg biotin
per serving), his feet are looking much better and not nearly as twitchy about
being picked out. But he still doesnt like me hosing them for some reason.
Strange horse...

Juli and Alpine (it's good to be home...)
