way back in the 1930's and 40's, Travlers Rest Arabians sold a LOT of their horses to South America;  i never see them included in the modern day pedigrees of the SA Arabians, however.  A very notable horse that was sold to Brazil was one called *WARSAW.  His sire was OFIR and his dam was *KASTELANKA.  and, had he been kept here in the U.S., may have surpassed *Witez II or BASK.  Yes, he was that extraordinary;  Considered the best OFIR son ever lost;   renie
