Jeeze Cindy I guess you and I are rabid - probably should be taken out 
and shot because be feel that no one - and that means no one should be 
able to "get special credit" and ride a lame horse no matter what.

If you can compete barefoot - more power to you, but don't ask for 
"special credit." Quite frankly I live my life like I expect Cindy also 
does going out and having fun with my horse. My horse will turn over the 
odometer to 2000 + miles (if I can stay on) in a few weeks who is going 
on his 10 tenth season with no sign of letting up. And know what he has 
been shod 24/7/365.25 for the last10 years. I just happen to have a good 
farrier.

To each his own - now can we move on.
