LOL...ain't that the truth!  A story - we're putting on a 2-day ride this 
spring, and in addition to the standard 25/50 each day, we're having a shorter 
(approx. 14 mile) intro ride each day to introduce new folks to the sport.  A 
riding buddy, who is also helping put the ride on, was talking to some 
co-workers who were excited about doing the intro ride (the co-worker's wife is 
a former show jumper).  Then they found out that it was 14 miles..."oh, that's 
WAY too far to ride!"  <G>
