Subject: WEC US Report Correction Suggested

Hi Steph:

Kim Henneman here (Bev Gray's vet).  I just got home from the UAE and someone gave me a copy of one of your email reports.  Overall, great coverage, however, I have a correction suggestion.  In the report on Pal, you stated that he passed his vet and then had the neurologic issues.  That isn't correct.  I was Bev's card swiper so I met Bev at the entry gate and was leading Pal in the crew area when he started acting neurologic.  We never presented him for a vet check and he never passed any vet exam before Dr. Waldron pulled him.  He went straight from the watering area to the vet hospital. I think that needs to be corrected in your reporting because it can be taken to mean that the FEI vets there missed something, which they did not.  The FEI vets did a great job as did the treatment vets in the barn.

Sincerely,

Kim Henneman, DVM, CVA, CVC
