[RC] Horse Shaking at VetChecks - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I'm looking for any information to help me find out why my horse shakes at
vetchecks and how I can stop it. She started doing this about 2-3 years ago
when we started getting more competitive at rides (she is very competitive).
She only does it at actual races not on training rides. I don't think it has
anything to do with her heat cycle because she has been doing it at almost
every ride that is in cool weather. I thought it was because she was cold but
she comes into the vetcheck shivering when she should still be warm. She
usually gets all A's on her vet scores and comes down pretty fast but some
people frown at the fact that she is shaking and make me feel like I over rode
her although she comes down quickly and has got BC twice and again gets A's on
her vet scores and looks very bright. I give her plenty of electrolytes
sometimes even more then I think she needs because I think she is shaking
because of a lack of them. I put a cooler on as much as possible. I feed her
alfalfa mixed with a little grass hay, Platinum Performance, beetpulp and
natural glow. Someone told me she could be lacking calcium. Any
ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
Sheri
