If Av. = average speed, then what is "Speed"? Is it what the speed would have been, taking the horse's recovery time into account? (sorry to sound dense, I'm assuming I'm missing something obvious here). Also, could those first two pulse times be obfuscated by general celebrations upon crossing the finish line in first and second place and failing to go straight to the PnR person?
