Regards, Kristian. I'll handle this one (as it was me who posted at 3am:) - We were out in the sands (w/o net connect) for the medal presentations and the following banquet. We got back to the net @2:30 or so. There was some pretty amazing dancing and food and camaraderie (not too mention huddled groups discussing all sorts of maybe's and whatifs:) Team Belgium was certainly the most jubulant on the dance floor etc. anyway, within 30 minutes of being close to a net hookup we posted the change:) I could have dragged Steph away earlier, but everyone was having a good decompression time - the riders and grooms and volunteers from all over the world are really where it's at post-ride - it's the people (as the horses are safe in their stalls at this point) - friends from all over the world who will, the next day, go their own ways to meet again (with luck) in another couple of years! so in summary, it took 4 hours to get the word out to the net b/c we were sharing the experience with friends from afar who we'd not see for awhile! jt. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
