Re: [RC] [RC] What Bill Said - Gary Fend

Thats a good point.  I had a friend that bought a new motorcycle.  After a few weeks I asked him how he liked it and how come I haven't seen him riding it around.  He told me the salesman told him that 90% of all MC accidents happen in the first 6 weeks of ownership so he was leaving it parked in his garage for 6 weeks.
A few weeks later I saw him with a broken leg.  Turns out he was doing some practice dry runs in his garage (you know, twisting the throttle and making MC noises) when the machine fell over on his leg.
Just goes to show--you never know!

I dunno. You'll have to start grading just how safe camp is. Take into
consideration whether they're going to get tangled in their panels and
break a leg, or they're going to hang theirself on their rope...or have
another horse go galloping by dragging 10 electric corrals. Maybe they'll
just stand at their trailer watching all the longer distance horses
leaving camp, get an ulcer from the stress and suffer from that. I'm too
careful and love my horse to risk it. I'll just keep him out there on the
trail where it's safe. >g<
