Re: [RC] poem on RideCamp - tamara medeiros

Hi Pam,
No, I did not write the words. Lee Ann Womack. Great words and song.
It just reminds me to feel honored to be alive and to be on the back of the most generous of animals who give more than they receive. It reminds me to open up my heart to new possibilities and accept what heartache life may and does often bring. It reminds me that there are no greater rewards than feeling that one is truely alive. Don't need buckles or t'shirts for that. Integrity is earned by choosing to endure and there are really no rewards for that down here.

Very nice. Did you write this, Tamara? Pam

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one singel breath for granted
I hope you still feel small
When you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give fate a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance\
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance
