We were surprised by the time change also but it was
done for a legitimate reason- The park rangers wanted
all riders out by a given time.
If you've ever managed a ride (or almost anything else
for that matter) you know that the unexpected can
happen at any time and that conditions change.
My suggestion: Loosen up, relax, be flexible and just
go out and enjoy the ride.
Perhaps we should all ride under the guidelines of the
Duck at the XP rides out west. (Check their website)
Marsh Bates (an LD rider that is happy to be able to
get out and ride and aspiring 50 miler)
