Re: [RC] Ortho-Flex vs. Reactor Panel vs. ?? - Karen Sullivan

I'm attracted to the idea of "flexible panel"
saddles - they seem to be a good compromise between typical treed and
treeless saddles and I like the idea of flexible yet broad support on
my horses back. What is your opinion on these kind of saddles? Comments
on these makes? I
know my seat is a whole separate issue, but I want to decide what
saddles to concentrate on first. I'm near Santa Rosa, CA, so if you
have a saddle I must try, let me know!! Thanks all! - Alan

Alan, couple of things....

You can visit the flex-saddle discussion group on yahoo...which is
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexsaddlesgroup which has discussions and
information of
different kinds of saddles with flexible panels.

You are also pretty lucky to be about an hour away from the Reactor Panel
warehouse and office in
Oakland. You can make an appt. and visit them; discuss the saddle and how
you ride, and sit in different
models. Lisa Jordan, one of the co-owners, also lives down the road from
you in Petaluma and often has
different models at her place.

I have two Reactor Panel Saddles and they are working very, very well.
Carmi and Lisa bend over
backwards to help with fitting and information. Visit their website at
www.reactorpanel.com

Good luck
Karen Sullivan
