I suspect the source of EIA is Asia. I do have journal articles with references to a Chineese vaccene for the disease.

By the way, the best information is that the vaccene does not work. EIA is in the same family of viruses as HIV (please note, they are not the same. EIA does not infect humans nor does HIV infect equines) which makes an effective vaccene unlikely anytime soon.
