I don't have Pierce's number but the above URL should be helpful.

Good luck!

Subject: [RC] Pierce Norton

Hello,  It came to my attention in a conversation with CuChullaine O'Reilly of the Long Riders Guild, that Sally Howell of New York was the only LR (she rode w/ 2 other Ladies from NY to Ca in 1974)/ GAHR veteran.  It was then that i mentioned Virl Norton and the 1,000 mile ride he did from Effingham , Illinois to DC in 1979 on 2 Arabs.  In order to get Virl listed as a Historical Long Rider we need the story and what the names of the horses were and who accompanied him on this journey.  So, i am trying to locate his son, Pierce, about "The Story" for inclusion onto the Historical LR's page.

So if anyone has a phone # for Pierce, or by chance, a copy of the story, it would further this attempt to lean History correctly in the right direction, and i would be grateful.

Yours, in Peace
