[RC] Epics - Candace Kahn

Hi,
When you make alterations to the Easyboot Epics and want to remove the heel strap you need to cut the strap out.  You can not remove the cleats and strap in one piece.  The cleats and that mechanism needs to stay in the boot so that the gaiter will stay on.  As you saw when removing the cleat mechanism there is nothing to prevent the little brass screw thing from pulling right through the boot material.  You can still use the boot without the strap.  Just put everything back together again and cut out the strap approx. 1/2 to 1 inch away from the metal cleat thing.

With Warm Regards,
Candy Kahn
