First, many thanks to all the folks who have shared their experiences with
this. It is new to this area and we are definitely having an outbreak - one vet
alone says she is lancing 2-3 horses per day at this point. Two questions yet.
First, is the soil contaminated or contagious before an abscess breaks? Second,
at what point does one suspect internal abscesses?
