--- Begin Message --- PLEASE cross-post to all of your horse email lists and horse-owning
friends and family.  Lets make this creative fundraiser a success!

Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society (BEHS) is trying a new twist on the
horse show concept - a Virtual Horse Show!  You don't have to get up
early, clip your horses, or stand in long lines to use port-a-johns or
register for classes.  Instead, submit photos of your horses, sit
back, and watch the show on-line!

Event:  Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society
First Annual "Virtual" Horse Show

Entries accepted:  Until November 15, 2005

Voting/judging:  November 16 - November 30, 2005

Winners announced:  December 1-5th, 2005

Entry fee:  $5/photo (each photo may be entered in one class) or
unlimited entries for $70.

Prizes:  Rosettes awarded to 1st-5th place.  The high point horse will
win a High Point Award (TBA).

Classes:

Halter:
1)  Stock Type Weanlings and yearlings.
2)  Please Type Weanlings and yearlings.
3)  Stock Type Mares (2 and over)
4)  Pleasure Type Mares (2 and over)
5)  Stock Type Geldings (2 and over)
6)  Pleasure Type Geldings (2 and over)
7)  Stock Type Stallions (2 and over)
8)  Pleasure Type Stallions (2 and over)
9)  Mules - All sexes, all ages
10)  Donkeys - All sexes, all ages

Showmanship
11)  Showmanship - All ages, all breeds

Pleasure
12)  Saddleseat Pleasure - All ages, all breeds
13)  Huntseat Pleasure - All ages, all breeds
14)  Western Pleasure - All ages, all breeds
15)  Gaited Horse Pleasure - All ages, all breeds, all seats
16)  Sidesaddle Pleasure - All ages, all breeds, all seats

Performance:
17)  Sport Horse (dressage, jumping, hunting, etc.)

Voting/Judging:  All photos will be posted to the BEHS Virtual Horse
Show Website as the photo and entry fee is received.  Judging/voting
will begin on November 16 and will go through November 30, 2005.  All
visitors to the website may vote for their favorite horse in each
class once.  Voting is open to anyone and voting is free.

Winners will be announced between December 1 and December 5th, 2005.

Entries must be emailed to jenn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  Please send one
photo per email.  Include the horse's name, the owner's name, sex,
breed, and age.  The person entering the photo must own the horse or
include permission from the horse's owner. For horses in the rescue
class, please include the name of the rescue the horse was adopted
from or is being fostered for.  You may also include the rescue's URL.

Proceeds from this show will be used to benefit the horses, mules, and
donkeys of BEHS. You can learn more about BEHS and our animals at
