This whole subject....it seems to be 75% nonsense...unless the humans involved 
don't really WANT to ride the horse,in which case it makes a kind of 
sense....there is a lot of snake oil for sale out there. Put a saddle that YOU 
like on the horse. Ride him a lot,and not in a ring.After a while,if you do 
develop any soring,modify or replace that saddle/pad/rigging. P.S. A Tarpin 
Hill trooper saddle will probably never sore any horse.
