RE: [RC] cribbers - Libby & Quentin Llop DVM

In owning over 150 horses in 30+ years I have only had 2 cribbers and I will never have another one. You can't give me a cribber!  But, both the ones I had were chestnut, one mare, one gelding. In our friends and clients barns I have seen grays and palominos that cribbed and some mares, but lots of dark geldings too.    Libby

Subject: [RC] cribbers

in 30 years of working around and with horses    all of the horse I've known or heard of were bay or dark horses, more male than female. What are the odds on that? what could be the reason? Carol IL
