==========================================

i just got back from the 40th annual buffalo roundup at custer state park in
south dakota. WOW !!! what an experience to be there on a horse as
approximately 1200 head of buffalo are rounded up into a 400 yard by 400 yard
corral.it definately tested all of my skills and then some. rearing, bucking,
snorting, jigging, backing, running away, you name it and it happened. but i
did not come off. the ground was vibrating like 100 trains going by as the
buffalo stampeded to the yells of the real cowboys and cowgirls of south
dakota. to see them at work cracking their whips at full gallop was astounding.
the real riders of south dakota they were. i have never witnessed such skill
and bravery and confidence on a horse before. mike
