Truman:
The comment that we are only scratching the surface
of what these horses are capable of doing, has
also said by some others.
One being Gayle Ecker of Guelph Univ, I think alot
of people would know her, she did the studies on
electolites.
I was told that the Shiek had 30 horses in training,
and that they Galloped 20 miles everyday in their
training program, and at the end of that period, he
picked the horse he thought would do the best.
(Do we do that with our horses?)
The other thing I thought was interesting, was how
hard they raced in, and that he galloped through
the gate, continued, not trot, canter, right to his 
pitcrew where
they pulled his saddle and he walked right to the
vets and pulsed down immediately.  Something like
96 second.  (Awesome I think)
And the comment being, that he looked like he never
did the ride, he looked that good.
I hope that when our riders and pitcrew, vets and helpers 
return that they will share what they have learned.....
