It's an artifical Oasis, made so t=you can walk your horse through, get a drink and sponge, or your crew can throw water on you and or the horse.  I'm trying to catch a ride out to the course to go see one.

On one of Steph's photo galleries, there was
a mysterious shot of a sort of artificial pond/
waterfall thing. It had a wall around it with a
white top painted on, some palm trees, and an
equally mysterious large shallow hole in front
of it. There was a turn right there. Maybe like
Beecher's Brook in the Grand National...only
without the 10' fence in front of it, and the
ditch bit was more like a hygienic foot wash,
but you get the idea. So maybe they're way ahead
of you?
