A shot of Maktoum and Haya in the vet check. Haya looks tired.  She's 
so much younger than him. I was asking why about the marriage and got 
rather interesting answers via some Jordanian friends. Jordan is a very 
poor country. No oil, just strategy and the respect for her father. 
They totally depend on aid to survive. As a royal daughter of a poor 
country in the Middle East, Haya's life was under a microscope to say 
the least, and by marrying Maktoum she's bought a certain amount of 
freedom and (depending on his generousity en famille...about which I've 
also heard rather disappointing rumours) financial stability. He, on 
the other hand, got himself a highly respectable and presentable 
wife....and made himself the butt of many jokes about deciding to breed 
riders for a change.
