I'm with Karen S., those feet are ridiculously shod with insufficient support under the heels among other errors. I can't believe he'd post photos like this without a disclaimer about how poorly these feet are all shod.

Or that he'd patch 'em and leave them shod that way free to "return to the action the same day". A materials guy, maybe a bit of an engineer to analyze the forces--but not to recognize that these trims/ shoeings would continue to serve the horse poorly...hard to respect that.
