[RC] help with new horse - Patti Kuvik

Hi Leigh ~

Could she be sensitive to the alfalfa? (I have one horse who seemed
sensitive to even the small amount in an alfalfa-based supplement.)

Might also consider the remote possibility that she's sensitive to the
niacin - in humans, even normal doses can cause a transient flushing and
itching (depending on the form used). Some people are exquisitely sensitive,
others it doesn't bother at all.

I also=
started her on Manna Pro's ShoHoof & she itches when eating=
that, even at 1/4th the dose.
