Please substantiate your statement that "metal shoes amplify 
concussion".  I predict that you find any studies that show 
more than a slight increase.

Sure Lynne, I'll look up the study because I imagine several have been done.


But use a bit of common sense; what would it be like putting metal wheels on
an off road bike - or metal plates on the bottom of your own running shoes?
Would you rather have metal or rubber? I'd personally rather have rubber.
When the surface you train on is hard, it makes sense to dampen the impact
and do something to improve traction at the same time.
