I have a cousin who is a Policeman for New Orleans.  I just heard from his mother (my aunt), that what we are seeing on tv isn't the half of it.  I have seen some gruesome coverage on the news with all the devastation, looting, etc.  Conditions a VERY bad there and that isn't counting all the water and trapped people just trying to survive.

As a law enforcement officer and follow horse person, What t.v I have seen has not been survival itmes that are being looted! And since I am in Fl. I have seen first hand what people LOOT and it is more othen then not not what they need to get them by. It is true that the morjority of people are helping their neighbors and that is what makes us survive these kind of things! But it sickens me to see the Looters act as if they have a right to do it. I sorry this sounds harsh but I have lived it and needed to vent.
