Even if the roads are cleared and power is back on, I doubt that the trails will be cleared by then.  And most likely all availble crews are working to clear Gulf Port and other areas.  I have ridden in that forest before, it is sandy soil with ALL big long leaf pines.  I would bet the farm that most of them are on the ground now.  Katrina was still a cat. 2 when it went thru the Laurel area.
