Re: [RC] chick trucks- a special challenge some chicks face - Laney Humphrey

Put on running boards!!! My current truck came with them and I love it!
Actually, it's a sturdy pipe kind of thing, not a "board." It sure makes getting up and in a breeze. That reminds me of another reasons I love my GM trucks: they aren't raised up to the sky. My 4WD is only high enough for good clearance; it doesn't look like some hot rodder's cloud banger.

LOL...I have yet another challenge with my truck, totally un-related to
horses.

My truck is also my vehicle I drive to and from work...and the biggest
challenge I have faced with it so far is trying to discreetly climb up into
my truck in a suit with a slim skirt......and my co-workers wonder why I
wear pants most of the time....well DUH!!! If I do wear a skirt for some
stupid reason (usually because all my other work clothes are at the
cleaners) I try and park in a "not-so-visible" spot so that if I am less
than graceful in my entrance or exit no one has to know!

And my F350 is not even a 4X4...it just sits up high....I can't imagine what
I will do if we get a 4X4!

I think one of the problems some of the ladies have had, are the seat height
vs leg length, and reaching the pedals. Many trucks now offer pedals that
actually move and adjust too, along with 6 way etc. adjustable seats. If one
is not comfortable with shifting, reaching the pedals or what ever, then it
could be a hazard I guess.
