Re: [RC] Gaited horses - Truman Prevatt

Tis..tis...tis...Lynne what are you saying? My little princess was wonderful on the trail. She never spooked. She always went forward. Just because I had to go into weight training to hold her back - doesn't really mean anything. Everyone could stand weight training to keep their upper body toned and buff.

Truman

PS: Don't pay any attention to the nickname - Hell bitch - that some though she deserved.
PPS: With all this talk about 100's I sure which she was 8 yo again.

Laney, congrats on your new kid!

I had TWHs before I had Arabs, and I'll keep my Arabs...just choosing the comfortable ones (they sure aren't all jackhammers) and putting a big splash o' Lipizzan in there for substance and sanity. ;-)

Ya gotta shop so carefully for the right TWH, it's very difficult to find the good'uns. I had a TWH from a week old who was hotter than any Arab, and my other one got very competitive if another horse was along. Lots of "want to" from both of 'em.
