Try contacting Paul Johnson at the WSU Vet School (he is an anatomy lab instructor).  He is a  ride and tie person and may know endurance people in the area…

Also contact Dr. Olin Balch, DVM, PhD…he lives in Pullman (his wife is in vet school).  He is an equine specialist and vets lots of rides in the northwest.  He may be able to hook you up with someone too.
