[RC] Night riding/motion sickness/dark horse syndrome-might try this. - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

A friend of mine, who is trying her first 100, and I went out for
a ride in the dark the other night. She has ridden in the dark once.
I rode for over 10 years without any problem, in the dark, BUT I
was on a white horse. The first 100 I did this spring on Tempo, I
discovered the motion sickness-headless horse syndrome, and did NOT
like it! I am hoping to do another 100 this month, so my friend and
I both figured we better get to experimenting with night riding.
She suggested putting the glowstick necklaces on the horses necks.
Not only were we both comfortable trotting, neither of us got dizzy!
Still not the same as a white horse, but I feel now I have a good
chance of actually getting to trot in at the finish this time! :o)
If you suffer the dark horse, and motion sickness, you might "try"
the necklace, just in case it helps you like it did us.

Skyla and Tempo (who was quite cute in his glowing pink necklace)
