[RC] Barbara's "glycogen loading" post - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

One notable instance of trying carbohydrate-loading on a horse met with poor,
if not disastrous results. It's been a long time ago, but as I remember the
horse did not do well.

What was done, Barbara? Some people die jumping off buildings and others land
on mattresses. It's all in the facts and details, which you have not provided
here. Errors teach just as much, or more, than good guesses--as long as the
facts are known. An empty observation like that above adds nothing to the
cumulative knowledge of a group like RC. Clearly its purpose is to inhibit
those who want to explore new concepts. Druidic.

By the way, do you understand the difference between glycogen loading and carb
supplementation?
