[RC] Easyboot new or old? - Candace Kahn

Dear Lysane

What should I look for in telling the difference between the 2005 Easyboots and the older
Easyboots?

THE NEWLY DESIGNED EASYBOOT 2005 HAS A GUSSET IN THE FRONT WHILE THE OLD EASYBOOT HAS MATERIAL FOLDED UNDER.
THE NEW EASYBOOT DOES NOT HAVE NUBS ON THE INTERIOR BOTTOM.
THE NEW EASYBOOT BACKSTRAP AND CLEATS ARE ONE PIECE AND ARE NO LONGER ADJUSTABLE.
THE NEW EASYBOOT HAS THE EASYCARE LOGO STAMPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BACK OF THE BOOT.
THE NEW EASYBOOT COMES WITH CLEAT COVERS AND THE CLEATS ARE NOT AS PROTRUSIVE AS IN THE OLDER VERSION.
THE NEW EASYBOOT HAS A HOLE IN THE CLASP THAT WILL ALLOW A COTTER PIN TO BE INSERTED.

I ordered some Easyboots (not directly from Easy Care, but from a mail order tack
shop....
They did not come with a cotter pin.

THE NEW EASBOOT 2005 DOES NOT COME WITH A COTTER PIN - THEY CAN BE PURCHASED IN BAGS OF 10 FOR $1.50.

Hope this helps.

With Warm Regards,
Candy Kahn
