Not when they are run in 8 hours and that just doesn't happen in the UAE - check you ride results. The 50 can be just as much as what you want it to be as the 100. It's all up to the rider.

50's are MUCH more intense. I could ride a 100 mile ride one day and the next go on a 5 miles hike. After a 50 I couldn't even move for two days because the pace was so fast and it just drains you.
