[RC] [RC] OL LAD - DreamWeaver

Kathy: I read RC thru the archives, so don't have your email. I just wanted to say good for you for putting your horses needs ahead of your own. It is great that Ol Lad has somebody who wants what is best for him. Maybe you could find a 4-H club or kid, or a riding program of some sort for him so that he will have a job and social interaction -- horses love that and you can always monitor him and make sure he stays happy and healthy. Another option is to find a nice retirement pasture for him. I know I would love for my horses when they get older to be able to spend time with a herd in a large pasture somewhere. I try to do that for them now when I can, and I am not sure if they love that more than they love their jobs. :)
