Re: [RC] feed bins - Suzi Maiorisi

My sister uses 2 freezers in her barn - one small one to store one type of feed, another bigger one with 2 sections for another type of feed and the smaller section holds halters/leads, etc for quickly grabbing a horse - excellent way to keep the critters out and it's generally kept full enough that a kid couldn't get in it anyway..

Ooh, am I the only mom who that scares? Be really careful about the old
ones that had latches rather than magnetic. Remember all the old stories
about kids crawling in playing hide & go seek and suffocating when they
couldn't get out?

I think the original poster was asking about storage containers for her
trailer tack room. If you're talking about a small area, and just enough
feed for a ride, you might consider some of the bigger cans that the
popcorn comes in...and you could get *festive* scenes on the outside or
one that looked like a milk can! :-D
