[RC] Odd gait on my new horse.. - Allegra C

Ok here is a question for those who have gaited horse experience.

My horse Boco has an odd gait he does.  It is the same speed as his canter.

To best describe the gait, it is a 4 beat gait, in which the hind legs move much like they would in a cavalry trot.  Only he REALLY works off of his hind end.  His front legs swing out in front of him and his shoulders start a swinging like crazy. (To re-phrase that, his shoulders swing easily, as he flings his front legs out in front of him self.)  His hooves do not, how do I put this, move in a swinging or out of line movement... think of the movement most gaited horses make.... but instead stay right in line || .

This is not his in between to a canter, it is a whole different animal. He will shift into it, and it has a definite rhythm. He can do a nice cavalry trot, posting trot, and jog, along with a few other gaits. But I have no idea what he is doing. I can find no referense to a simular motion on any gaited horse sites.
