Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

Does a horse make an audible vocal noise when thumping?  If a horse was 
noticeably tired and sounding almost like it was hic uping is that 
thumps?  if not any idea what it could be?  Pulse was high but horse 
still wanted to go and visibly seemed fine and after stopping getting 
off and walking for about 5 minutes and got back on the noise was gone 
until the heart rate got up again.
