[RC] sacroid tumor, easy boot wear. - Kathy

Hi, my endurance horse has a quarter size sacroid tumor on the outside of his
ankle and looks like he is getting some on his pasturn. Any ideas on how to
treat them? My vet is currently in the hospital so no help there. Also has
anyone had any problems with using the new easy boots over shoes? I did a 3
hr. 15 plus mile ride this weekend with new easy boots over aluminum shoes and
the tread had worn down over 3/4 and they looked like they had been on a
grinder. The bottoms of them looked worse than the old ones I used on a 50
mile road ride a month before. Any ideas! Thanks for your help. Kathy
