[RC] Over conditioned? - Ed

I am a little confused about your question. You ask if your horse is over
conditioned then describe his body type and feeding. There was no real
mention of your training habits. Certainly feed/supplements are important
here (are you burning up more fuel than you are feeding?).

I guess I am wondering if you think you are doing too much training? I would
think that at this point in time you horse should be ready for Tevis or not.
I would basically rest him the next two weeks. If anything I wouldn't ride
more than an hour at a time a couple of times this week and none the
following week. These should be relatively easily just to keep him aware of
his job. Allow him time to recover and be fresh for the big event.

No great credentials here but it has worked for me in what little I have
done.
