[RC] Headtossing - Julienne

Have you ruled out photic sensitivity?  My first gelding was a headtosser - had
chiro done, xrays taken, ridden in a light hackamore.. and he still shook his
head and we couldn't find the source of the problem.  Finally we were able to
deduce that the headshaking was much worse on very sunny days.  I rode him with
a fly masks which blocked a lot of the UV rays and that helped quite a bit.

Is he a chestnut?  Photic headshaking seems to be color coat related according
to some of the articles I've read.. chestnuts seem to have a propensity towards
the affliction.
